In October of 2007, Domtar installed its first Nova AutoWrapping System using Nova XF Wrap. Our goal was to improve the consistency of our dimensional wood packaging and reduce labor costs.

After a year of testing and evaluation, we are convinced this system works. So convinced that we installed a second line in December 2008 and will be adding additional NovaWrapper lines throughout the coming year.

We are satisfied with the line because it creates a uniform lif of lumber and delivers additional safety at the mill and to the end customer by eliminating staples. The Nova XF Wrap is appreciated because of its toughness, appearance and ability to protect our lumber.
